dbCreateInst with parameter property

Hi all,

I want to create layout instances with the function 'dbCreateInst' of an instance that has some parameters, let say "width" and "length"

However with the following code-line, it is not possible to specify the parameters.

(dbCreateInst (getEditRep) (dbOpenCellViewByType library "myCell" "layout") nil (list xpoint ypoint) "R0")

When using the graphical interface : 'leHiCreateInst' we are able to change the default values of the parameters and then we can see them selecting the instance and typing : css()~>prop~>??

But when I use dbCreateInst to create the instance, there is : 'nil' in the 'prop' field ...

Does anyone know how to insert a cell with parameter, or how to change the parameters after insertion ?

Thanks for any piece of advice.
