Set Focus

 Hello,

I have a StringField, that looks like this:

hiCreateStringField(
                    ?name 'Test
                    ?prompt "Folder of Test File:.............................................."
                    ?value mvalue
                    ?invisible list(nil)
                    ?callback "checkDirEx( )"
                 )

 where my callback-routine looks like that:

 procedure(checkDirEx()
  prog(()

      if(!isDir(MyForm->Test->value) then
        if(hiDisplayAppDBox(
              ?name 'questMsgDBox
              ?dialogStyle 'modal     ; wait for user-interaction before continuing
               ?dboxBanner "Directory not found"
              ?dboxText sprintf(nil "Warning: the entered path does not exist.\nWould you like to change it?" )
              ?dialogType hicQuestionDialog
              ?buttonLayout 'YesNo)==t then
            Test->focus=t

           )
    )

  )
)

Is there a way to set to Focus to a field?

    If I understand your question right you whant to set the
    focus to one of the dialog box buttons 'Yes' or 'No'?

    There is an argument for the
    'hiDisplayAppDBox' function
    called '?defaultButton'.
    Have a look at the
    'Cadence User Interface SKILL Functions Reference',
    Chapter 4, Dialog Boxes.
    'Example, if the s_buttonLayout argument is set to 'YesNo, and the x_defaultButton is set to 2,
    the No button will be the default button.
