changing action of strokes

I recently figured out how to enable strokes in Virtuoso, and was wondering if there is a Skill function that will descend into a block that a given set of coordinates is contained within?  I searched the Skill help manual for "descend", but couldn't find any functions that do what I am describing.  How can I descend into a block using a downward mouse stroke whose endpoint is inside the block?

 

Also, is it possible to define new strokes?

    Are you using AMD x86_64 platform?  If yes, it could be a Java limitation.  The JRE for AMD x86_64 doesn't include the (Mozilla) web browser plug-in thingy.

    I ran into a similar problem with the DEFT Eclipse plug-in for techfile editing.  When you try to access the 'Cadence Documentation' tab at the bottom you get an 'Embedded browser not available' message.

    ...Someone from Cadence will have to confirm though.

    Yes, this is running on the AMD x86_64 platform.  Is there nothing that can be done to fix the Java errors?
