Skill code for accessing properties of a pin shape in Layout view

I am trying to generate text labels for several pins in the layout. This layout was generated by importing a LEF. I need to access the following for each pin: Layer, Bounding Box, Terminal Name. Once I have this information, I can add labels based on the Terminal Name on appropriate layers. Any help in this regards would be appreciated.
