Conversion of a text to a logo

Vasili
Vasili over 16 years ago

I already was told that there is no simple skill code that

would allow to convert an arbitrary text, say, presented as a label

into a shapes (polygons). However, this is rather strange for me.

This is why I would like to ask this question again. It is easy to see

that lables are built from lines. Maybe it is possible "to interseptlabels

and convert them to, say, lines or paths?

     Hi Vasili,

This is not strictly true; there is a "PG Text" capability built right into the tool, as a feature of Turbo Toolbox (it is available in IC5141 and IC61x versions) - look for that as a search string in SourceLink and you should find some good information.

In addition to this, there are sure to be several versions of AE-ware and customer code that has been written for this purpose, but I think your best bet is probably to use Turbo Toolbox.

     Hope this helps you!

    Regards,

    Lawrence.
