Contact Form

Hi,

First,

I want to add new type of contact (i.e. VIAS_M1_M3) in my contact list that appears in the ->CreateContactForm (bindkey 'o' in Layout)

Does anyone know how to do so ?

Secondly, I saw a similar interest in the following forum :

www.groupsrv.com/.../about610124.html

This second question is not about Cadence, but usenet or forum or whatever it is. Does anyone know how do I post/reply on this "Computers - Cadence" forum.

Thanks for any hints. Regards,

    Hi,

Vias and contacts are defined in the technology file (techfile), and depending on which version you are using, they are either in the viaDefs section as standardViaDefs or customViaDefs (IC61x) or in the devices class as a symContactDevice, cdsViaDevice, etc. for the IC5141 version (this is not all, there are other devices).

For question 2 I don't know, so I will leave this to someone else to answer.

    Regards,

    Lawrence.
