how to get cellviewId of layout in which an Rod object is being created

Hi ,

How to get the cellview Id of layout window ,in which an Rod Object is being created.

You'd normally use geGetEditCellView() to get the cellView ID of the current layout window, and use that to create the ROD object, for example:
rect=rodCreateRect(?layer "Metal1" ?width 2.0 ?length 1.0 ?cvId geGetEditCellView())
Once you've created the object, you can find out the cellView it's in by doing:
rect~>cvId
