Identify LI(Local Interconnect) feedthrough

 Hi,

        In our technology we have got a layer LI(local interconnect) which is of high resistive.. I wanted to find the places in my Chip where this LI layer is used for routing... Our layer hirearchy goes like this

LI-->mcon-->metal1-->via-->metal2-->via2 and so on

 My task is to identify connections from  "mcon-->LI-->mcon "

Please help me suggesting possible ways...

Thanks,

Bharath

    Hi Bharath,

    You could get the lpps attribute from the cellview database object and find the LI layer-purpose pair object.  From this you can find the shapes, and then you could use this information in conjunction with the dbGetOverlaps() or dbGetTrueOverlaps() SKILL functions to find if and where a particular LI shape overlaps with an mcon shape.

    Hope this helps to get you started.

    Regards,

    Lawrence.
