how to get the bbox of a layer in a pcell.

Hi all...

   How should we get the bbox of a perticular layer in a pcell using skill.If know plese tell me.

    Hi Veera, The pcell is consider as an instances in layout where all the shapes are in lower hierarchy. In order to get the bBox of the shape of particular layer, you may use function dbGetOverlap(cv Pcell_bBox layer level) to get the shape id and use function dbTransfromBBox(shape_bBox pcell_transform) to transform the bBox to top level.
