How to acess layout libs of CDBA in OA cadence tool?

IC Layout

 Hello! Everone, I have layout libraries which have drawn in cadence IC514 version tool..(CDBA)

Our tool was updated to IC6.. version, Now I would like to acess CDBA libraries  in this new version tool (OA).

Can someone tell me a way to achieve this.

  • Hello! Mr. Andrew,

                                I have successfully converted all of my cdb libraries to OA libs... When I tried to open them it is giving license is not available...I asked my admin whether we have licence or not... He said we are still trying to set the license for layout....(schematic license we have)

    Anyway, I am able able open them in read mode.... For my surprise, When I am checking my skill codes (ex: generate from schematic), I am able to create a layout cellview and I am able to place transistors through skill..

    I would like to know, How it's happening even without layout licence?

    Can you please, suggest an answer?
