FastZoom in wavescan without mouse click

 Greetings all,

I'm trying to create a custom key-binding in Cadence 5.14 for wavescan. I would like to zoom in/out at the point where my cursor is located with a single key-press.

I tried:

list("<Key>i"        "awvFastZoomInMenuCB()")

But this obviously requires me to then click the mouse to tell the awvFastZoomInCB()  where to zoom in at.

I also tried:

list("<Key>o"        "awvFastZoomOutMenuCB() geSelectPoint( awvGetCurrentWindow() hiGetCommandPoint(awvGetCurrentWindow()))")

But that didn't work.  the geSelectPoint only works on graphics editor windows.  I couldn't find an equivalent awv command.

Any ideas out there as to what other method I could use?

    "you're really asking for "infix" type behaviour" - Not exactly...  I just want to complete the command with an automatic polling of my mouse position.  I don't however want general infix for all commands, just specific ones.

     Wavescan does have some mechanism for polling the mouse since it asks for a mouse click.  However, I don't know if this translates to a command which passes the mouse position to the zoom command without requiring the mouse click.
