Cut Guard Ring - Turbo box function

 This one will not take care of drc spacing? For example, when I have Metal1 bus crossing the guard ring

I tried to cut that portion using "cut guard ring".This will remove that portion but the guard ring Metal1s

are still shorted to the Metal1 bus which crossing the guard ring.

It won't push those guard ring M1 to have DRC clean ?

 

Or is there any other alternative way to do it ?
