hi all:

 I want to translate my prBoundary of PBCEL wrote as a "rect" in  CDB into  OA with the objType is "prBoundary" .

  the  script in CBD now :

        Bound = rodCreateRect(
               ?cvId          pcCellView
               ?name          "Bound"                           ==> OA : the boundary that  objType is "prBoundary".
               ?layer         list("prBoundary" "drawing")
               ?bBox          list(0.0:0.0 2.0:14.0)
              )

thanks for your help.

    You can either just create the PrBoundary object directly:

    boundObj=dbCreatePRBoundary(
        pcCellView
        list(0.0:0.0 0.0:14.0 2.0:14.0 2.0:0.0)
        )

    or if you want to create a ROD object first (for example, to align to, or whatever) you can do:

    Bound = rodCreateRect(
           ?cvId          pcCellView
           ?name          "Bound"
           ?layer         list("prBoundary" "drawing")
           ?bBox          list(0.0:0.0 2.0:14.0)
          )
    ; after we've finished using the Bound rod object for whatever
    ; we need it for, convert it into a PrBoundary object.
    boundObj=dbCreatePRBoundary(
        pcCellView
        list(Bound~>upperLeft Bound~>upperRight Bound~>lowerRight Bound~>lowerLeft)
        )
    ; don't need the original ROD object any more
    dbDeleteObject(Bound~>dbId)

    Regards,

    Andrew.
