Connect center lines of two paths together

For converting a polygon into a path, first I converted polygon into rectangle using dbLayerTile. Then I converted it into path. In this process, I found that the newly formed paths(parts of the same old polygon) just touch each other. Any Idea on how to make these paths center-line connected?

Rather than doing this via dbLayerTile, perhaps you could use my code from Cadence Online Support Solution 11037248 ?

Alternatively you could take all your converted paths, and try to match end points, and the alter ~>points on one of the paths to produce the combined point list (and then delete one of the paths). But this will be messy at bends, I suspect, so you may be better off using the code above.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
