How to delete a cellview property

In schematic view, there's Edit->Properties->CellView. I'd like to delete a specific property for every cell, therefore I'm generating a script to automate that.

 I tried:

cvObj = dbOpenCellViewByType(libName cellName "schematic" "schematic" "a")
dbDeletePropByName(cvObj "modelName")
dbSave(cvObj)
dbClose(cvObj)

In the GUI, I can see that property disappears, but it is not saved, and therefore I still have to go back to the schematic to hit Check And Save. What should be the correct way to do this? Thanks!!

    Are you sure it's not saved? It's very hard to see why not, given that you have a dbSave() call in there.

    Perhaps it's just the fact that it has not been "checked" that is causing you trouble. So you probably need to have:

    schCheck(cvObj)

    before the dbSave(cvObj) ?

    Regards,

    Andrew.
