 Hi,

Is it possible to interact with cadence virtuoso with the help of tickle programs..? If yes, can you direct me to any of the example programs i can work with.

Thanks,

Bharath.

     Hi Bharath,

Yes, it is possible for the SKILL-based DFII session to interact with an external script or program; perhaps the easiest method is to use  Inter-Process Communication.  The SKILL functions for this begin with the prefix of ipc, such as ipcBeginProcess() for starting the external script or program.  I would suggest first looking in the documentation (Cadence Interprocess Communication SKILL Reference - Interprocess Communication SKILL Functions), using the above function perhaps as a starting place - likewise for the Online support site for any solutions.

I hope that this helps you in getting started.

    Regards,

    Lawrence.
