A question about autocontact feature ?

IC Layout

 Hi! All, I am using IC514 version of cadence...

I have a question about autocontact feature in layout editor...

I have two sets of  vias in my PDK...

ex:- M2_M1c, DFM_M2_M1 .... lly for all vias

By default  for paths M2 and M3 (or M2 and M1) it is droping via which has "c" at the end...

i.e for M2 & M1 intersection ==> M2_M1c

         M3 & M2 intersection ==> M3_M2c

Will it possible to drop my desired vias by setting any environment variable or by any means..

(I have read the post about auto contact dropping .. its fine ... but I would like to know this if possible ...)

Thnaks in Advance...

    Hi Prabhakar,

    Maybe you're after the ability to specify a defaultVia - if so, look at this Cadence Online Support Solution.

    Regards,

    Andrew.

    Hi Prabhakar,

    Have you seen this other recent thread, it seems related?
