overlap of metals

Hello all,

                Iam trying to find the overlap of two metals, if it is overlap of M1 & M2 then placing via1,  similary for M2 & M3. I tried with ovelap command, but iam not able to get it. can any one help me

     How about using dbLayerAnd?

    What version are you using? (Help->About in the CIW)

    That's not what is reported from Help->About - what I wanted to know was the subversion.

    My guess is that you're using a version prior to IC5141 USR1 (which was released in December 2004) - because that's when dbLayerAnd() was introduced. If so, the solution is to use a more recent subversion of IC5141.
