Is there a command to take a polygon shape and break it into corresponding rectangle shapes?
Dave,This is a common question and unfortunately, the only command Cadence provides is dbLayerTile. This command requires top level shape ids and creates top level shapes. If you need only the bBox information, you'll have to create some scratch cell to do this. It would be nice for Cadence to provide a command to do this. Writing this in Skill is not trivial and not as efficient as it could be if written in C.
