Does anybody know how these fields are set? (I am referring to the scrolling fields to the right of the X:Y: coord fields in the top row)

When i am editing at the top level of a cell, the fields scroll but are incorrect (i.e. it looks like they are measuring from some reference point and not the first point of my polygon sweep).  When I descend into EIP the fields are blank.  Does anyone know the skill/env variable to control these?

Thanks

Two ways. There is an explicit command (the + key on the numeric keypad in the "leBindKeys.il" sample bindkeys file (I think the function is something like leSetReferencePoint() ) which sets the reference point and this will reset dx and dy.

The second is when you get prompted to set a reference point in various commands (eg move or copy). That is controlled by the auto set reference point on (I think) the Options->Editor form.

You can also control whether the reference point is displayed via the Options->Display form.

Apologies for the "I thinks" in this - I'm off line so I can't check.

Personally when doing layout I rarely used rulers, because I used to use the dx/dy instead.
