IC-613 06.13.510 Hotfix: Problem in installation

Hi everyone,

I was trying to install IC 6.13.510 Hotfix. But I faced a problem during the installation process of the IC.When the installation was 99% complete, remaining time: 00:00:20 (hh:mm:ss), then a message prompt appeared named 'Mount CD'. The first two lines of the message were: Mount New Media:

Base IC610 Inx86 P/N 356-70352-070 CDROM # 1

The text box- 'CDROM Mount Point' of the prompt was automatically filled with '/usr/local/cadence/cadence.bkp/IC06.13.510-613_lnx86.Hotfix/CDROM1', from where the IC was being installed. As the message prompt demanded the CDROM 1 of the Base IC610 lnx86, I browsed the text box to '/usr/local/cadence/cadence.bkp/IC610_lnx86.Base/CDROM1' and clicked 'ok' but nothing happened. Each time I clicked 'ok' the message prompt blinked momentarily but never disappeared and at last I had to cancel the installation process.

Could anyone please give me any idea what was the problem here? What is Base IC610 P/N 356-70352-070 CDROM #1 here? Please, write me something to help in overcoming this problem.

Hi iamlearning

As explained in my message, please order the DVD from the support website instead of downloading the files. Your installation procedure is correct. There might be a problem with your files.

By the way, please post installation issues in the CIC forum, not SKILL forum. : )
