Hi,

I am looking out for a skill code which makes copying and pasting an object in LEFT/RIGHT/UP/DOWN directions with the required dx and dy distances and a form to chose the  needed direction.

    Hi,

I think this is already available in any versions of cadence virtuoso. when you activate numerical input mode during copy command you can specify dx and dy values, -dx means Left -dy means Down, otherwise its Right and/or Up. Additionally you can specify the number of times you want to copy the selected sets.

yup...I am aware of the one you said in your reply....but I am reffering to relative copying....

means....say after copying 4 times in X-direction, if I want to copy the object in the Y-direction from the last 4th object...for 3 more times...again copying in -ve X- direction with respect to the last object...etc...

By clicking on the given directions, i want to copy the object to the relative spacing from the current object...

    Thanks,

    chv
