How to do revision control/checkpoint on a cellview in SKILL?

In the openaccess C++ API, there are these methods: setCp(), unsetCp(), undo(), redo(),... in the oaDesign class.

I would like to do the same thing in SKILL (i.e., edit a cellview, create a checkpoint, save it, undo the changes, ... ), but I am unable to find the corresponding SKILL functions. Any suggestion?

Thanks a lot for your help and have a nice day.

The SKILL API is based on the CDBA API to allow compatibility with the many millions of lines of existing code out there.

So you'd use functions like dbOpenCellViewByType(), dbSave(), dbClose(). There is an undo (hiUndo) but the semantics aren't quite the same as the underlying OA undo.

Take a look at the <instDir>/doc/skdfref/skdfref.pdf documentation.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
