What is the difference between de and ge. when i tried both gives window id's. deGetCellView() geGetWindowCellView()

    "de" functions are for the "Design Editor" and "ge" functions are for the Graphics Editor. There is some overlap. The design editor layer can cope with many different view types, whereas graphics editor is only for tools which have a graphical interface (e.g. layout editor, schematic and symbol editor). So if you open (say) a veriloga view, you cannot use the geGetWindowCellView() function, but deGetCellView() will return the "dd" object of the veriloga view.
