Running a ocean script from perl

gurusub

I would like to call an ocean script from perl to aid  automation. Is there a on-line command as in UNIX to accomplish the same?

In UNIX i would say %cat ocean_script.ocn|ocean.

I tried writing code for the cat function in perl and use the pipe to call the script, but it does not work rather it just prints the ocean script in the console which a traditional cat command in UNIX does. Seems like I am missing something important here.

Thanks Bernd it works. More precisely,
