    Charley,

In IC614 you have Connectivity->Save All Mark Nets which allows you to save the marked nets to another cellView (as shapes). From that you could find the overall bounding box.

I don't think it's possible any other way - in previous releases there was no way to get hold of the shapes returned by Mark Net.

    Regards,

    Andrew.

Hi Andrew, I can use leHiMarkNet() to marknet , if it has 2 or 3 or ...net on the same point , (e.g. Net1's lpp is "ME4" ; Net2's lpp is "ME3" ; Net3's lpp is "ME6" ) How do I only get Net2 Marknet (which lpp is "ME3") ? Thank you, Charley

If there are overlapping shapes at the point where you click with mark net, it only picks one of them. The workaround would be to turn off the visibility in the LSW or layer palette of the layers you don't want to pick, and then turn them back on again afterwards. The mark net trace will still follow invisible layers, but won't allow you to start from an invisible layer.

    Regards,

    Andrew.

How do I purge the last result by using MarkNet ?

    Thank you,

    Charley

    Hi Charley,

Connectivity->Net->Unmark net should do it, if I've understood your question.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
