Thanks for your suggestions. Now my progress bar was working with updated text every loops. But I encountered new problem on cancel button my progress bar; here is the scenario: I execute simulation using spectre command, below is my sample code: cid = ipcBeginProcess("csh ./runSpectre") ipcWaitForProcess(cid) while( ipcIsAliveProcess(cid) ipcSleep(1) when( hiIsProgressBoxCancelled(pb) InfoMsgDialog("Warning! When canceling simulation \n some data will be lost\Do you want to continue" 'YesNo) ) ) The problem is when I clicked the cancel button of progress bar callback is work but sometimes it is not. I wanted the cancel button smooth when the user clicked InfoMsgDialog always called. In my experiment I used csh("sleep 0.5"), ipcSleep(1/2) the cancel button is smooth; but the ipcIsAliveProcess(cid) return is always true, and it will be caused of freezing phenomenon. Is there have any function can I used to substitute the ipcSleep to refresh the CIW while waiting for cid?
