Send a command from Perl to Skill

Hi,

I'd to know how to pass a command from Perl to Skill...say I want to pass "Hello from Perl" string to Skill, then how can I do that?  I know that I need to invoke perl.exe and the perl file (.pl) using ipcSkillProcess() wherein I provide the exe and path to the perl file as noted below, I still am not sure how Skill will read the info from the Perl file - any ideas?

cid = ipcSkillProcess("D:/perl/per.exe d:/script/myperl.pl"

Here's a line from myperl.pl:
print "Hello from Perl\n";

    Unless I am mistaken there are two ways to get data from the Perl program, one is to read from the child_id ('cid' in your example) using ipcReadProcess(cid), and another is to specify the data handler when you first start the process (the third argument to the ipcSkillProcess command):

    
ipcSkillProcess( 
  t_command 
  [ t_hostName ] 
  [ tsu_dataHandler ] 
  [ tsu_errHandler ] 
  [ tsu_postFunc ] 
  [ t_logFile ] 
  [ x_cmdDesc ] 
  [ x_resDesc ] 
)
=> o_childId
