     Hi Selvaa,

    i assume you first created the ring by merging your rectangles,
    selected the complete figure and modified the corners (in 6.14:
    edit - advanced - modify corner)?

    The remaining "slit" in your ring is a feature, you cannot create
    shapes having a hole, just polygons are allowed, so virtuoso will split
    up the ring somewhere to achieve this. The width of this slit is zero, so it
    won't have any effect on your design and it will be merged again when
    data are fractured for mask making.

    To avoid rounding on the corners adjacent to this split-line, just do
    a partial select (Options - selection)select all corners except the ones
    at the split line and apply the corner rounding...

    Hope this is applicable to your problem,

    EDIT: no, it's not, at least not sufficiently: the inner corner at the position of the slit will not be rounded this way;
    to come around this, a bit more effort is required: split the ring manually somewhere off the
    corners ("chop" and with F3 select the option "by line"), create a "real" slit between the edges
    by selecting one of them and moving it slightly (stretch function). After merging the resulting parts
    apply the roundings to all corneres where it's desired, move back the edge modified before and you're done.

    A bit more complicated than expected first but hopefully still useful...?

    greetings to SGP

    Stefan

    Hi Stefan,

    In my layout editor,I am not able to do "Partial Select".
    Actually "Under Options" I have only Display & Layout Editor.

    Thanks

     Hi Selvaa,

    are you using virtuoso?

    If the menu-item is not available, try

    geTogglePartialSelect()

    to switch between full and partial select..

    regards

    Stefan

    Hi Stefan,

    I am able to modify corner points.
    But when I merge I am getting the line in one side of the rectangle,
    So I am not getting the same curvature shape as other structure.
    Can you help me to solve this issue.?

    Thanks & Regards
