Bindkey to navigate DialogBoxes

Hi all,

I have tried to find the solution on this forumn, but have been unable to find it. I appologize in advance if the solution is somewhere and i couldnt find it.

What i would really like to do is the following:

Assign a bindkey which opens a dialog box, then changes a parameter inside the dialog box, and finally closes the dialog box.

I havent been able to make it such that after the dialog box is opened, the rest of the commands for the bindkey are executed. If i press the bind key again after bringing focus to the main window, then it will perform the rest of the actions. I would really like to automate all of this.

Thank you very much,

Shayan

    Hi Shayan,

Yes, that's what the manuals are for! If using IC5141 you can use "cdsdoc" or look in the pdf files in <ICinstDir>/doc . The pdf files are mainly in directories that begin "sk" for SKILL (e.g. skdfref, sklayoutref etc). You can also use the "cdsFinder" utility to give you a searchable list of public function names - but more details will be in the documentation.

Or you can use cdnshelp from a later release to index your IC5141 documentation - that's much nicer than the (now replaced) cdsdoc.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
