hello,

I would like make my pcell stretchable, so I used the rodAssignHandleToParameter function, added a parameters for the point a would stretch them...

the probleme that when I test this option, I see the small lozenge, the display name used in the rodAssignHandleToParameter (left_enctop=-1.42 and it vary when I move the mouse)....

the pb is the bus of metal I want to stretch does not change!!...

do you understand the pb?

do you have an idea, why it have this behaviar...?

thanks a lot.

Without seeing your code, it's hard to tell. Most likely you either have got the parameter name wrong - does varying the same parameter via the edit properties form have the same effect? Or there's a type mismatch - your pcell is expecting a string maybe and the stretch handle is producing a variation in a float.

Or maybe you have a userFunction for the rodAssignHandleToParameter and that is not working.

As you can see, it's really hard to guess without seeing it. You may be better off going to http://support.cadence.com and logging a service request so that somebody can look at your data and provide advice based on that.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
