Retrieve added points outside enterfunction and enterfunction callback

Hi,

I have two questions regarding enterfunctions:

1. It is possible to add points (addPoint, preXY) or delete the last point (deletePoint) added to an enterfunction from any other function. Is it also possible to retrieve the list of digitized points when not in a callback of that enterfunction? For instance, I want to retrieve the points added with the standard path command without calling enterPath myself (and thereby losing the standard form etc.).

2. Cadence discourages the blocking use of enterfunctions, and instead recommends use of callbacks. What pattern should then be used to mimick blocking behaviour? E.g. while in enterRect, I want to call a function A that calls enterSegment. When A returns, I want the entered segment to be available in the context of enterRect so that I can use addPoint.

Thanks!
