is anybody aware of a command to get the coordinates of a window, such as the CIW, so I can set it in the .cdsenv for future use?

Thanks.

     Hi Dave,

    The function you need is hiGetAbsWindowScreenBBox() here is a brief snippet from the docs:

    hiGetAbsWindowScreenBBox(
    w_windowId
    [g_includeWMOffsets]
    )
    => l_bBox

    Description

    Returns the absolute screen coordinates of a window, assuming 0:0 is the lower-left
    corner of the screen.

    Hopefully this is what you are looking for.

    Regards,

    Lawrence.
