Simple question about character printing

Hi.

There was a necessity to display information on a course of performance of the program of a type "Is completed N %". There was a question - as it to make after all % - the directive of format. Probably I ask primitive things but to find something similar in the user guide to me it was not possible. In advance thanks

Regards,

Slawa

    Hi Slawa,

Your question isn't that clear to me, but I think you're asking how to get a % in the output?

    Something like this:

    printf("Complete: %d%%\n" 20)

Is that what you want? (%% means print a % sign; this is exactly the same as the C printf function)

    Regards,

    Andrew.

The various format specifications are listed in the help document under fprintf. If you are not sure of the format of the data to be printed, use %L to print out a list. This would include double quotes around strings.
