save properties separately

Hi, I am new to Virtuoso Skill. How is it possible to save properties separately from the design? For example when the design is read only.

What is the best way to reference to the object in the existing design? By name? Is there a way to reference to the object in DB? So the reference will be the same within several invocations.

Thanks.

Perhaps if you explained what your goal was, somebody might be able to give a suggestion? At the moment it's not obvious to me what advice best to give.

You can reference an instance name with a hierarchical path (e.g. "/I1/I2/M2"). You could store properties however you like - but without knowing what you're actually trying to do, there's very little point in explaining how to do that because it could be completely inappropriate.

    Best Regards,

    Andrew.
