SKILL equivalent to vxl "propagate Nets" command

Hi Experts,

I like to implement vxl propagate functionality using SKILL. I know that there is no equivalent SKILL function available for this.  Please suggest me any temp workaround.

I'm trying using hiRegTimer for these menu command steps but not working for me.

 leHiPropagateNets()
 hiiSetCurrentForm(hiGetCurrentForm()->hiFormSym)
 leiResetNetNames(hiGetCurrentForm() 'useTermName)
 hiFormDone(hiGetCurrentForm())

Please suggest me how to wrap these lines under hiRegTimer to make it working.

I understand that it not suggested to use internal functions but I like to use it as immediate workaround till we get SKILL function from Cadence.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards,

Bhupendra

    Hi Bhupendra,

    The form is non-blocking, so there's no need to use hiRegTimer(). However, the tricky part is finding the form id, because hiGetCurrentForm() won't work - as it's not the current form unless there has been focus on the form. The good thing is that the form id is stored on the window, so you can use the following approach:

    procedure(ABpropagateNets()
      leHiPropagateNets()
      leiResetNetNames(hiGetCurrentWindow()->leiPropagateNetsForm 'useTermName)
      hiFormDone(hiGetCurrentWindow()->leiPropagateNetsForm)
    )

    Regards,

    Andrew.
