Coordinates in virtuoso layout suite

Techie3127

 Hi all,

I have a requirement,

I have to select coordinates (x,y or x:y or x y ) from an nedit file and when i press some key on  'virtuoso layout suite' , it should zoom to the specific location.

Please provide me a one-key solution.

Thanks and regards,

Ravi Siddanath

     Hi Ravi,

    If the file contains whitespace separated or comma separated numbers, and you are using IC61x then the following should work without needing modification:

    procedure(CCSzoomToFileCoords(@optional (file "~/coords.txt") "t")
      let((fp crds)
        when(fp = infile(file)
          when(crds = lineread(fp)
            cond(
              (listp(crds) && forall(item crds numberp(item))
                leZoomToPoint(hiGetCurrentWindow() crds)
              )
              (t nil)
            ); cond
          ); when crds
          close(fp)
        ); when fp
      ); let
    ); procedure CCSzoomToFileCoords

    hiSetBindKey("Layout" "Shift<key>j" "CCSzoomToFileCoords()")

    I briefly tested this and it appeared to work.  You will need to add code if you need the "x:y" format in the coordinate file.

    Best regards,

    Lawrence.
