may I use some skill function to edit a component CDF in my current design?

 Hi,

may i use a skill function to change some component parameter value?

for example

i want to change the Vpulse( in user level) parameter "voltage 0" to "3v", or what did you do when you want to change some parameter value in CDF.

It should look like this:  select Vpulse-->push key "Q"-->enter 3 in the Vpulse voltage 0 field.

Regards,

zfeng

    Zfeng,

I'm not sure which component you're talking about - the "vpulse" in analogLib doesn't have a "voltage 0" field, so it's presumably not that. But say it was "vpulse" from analogLib, and it was the "Voltage 1" field you want to change, you'd do:

    instId~>v1="3"

where instId could be car(geGetSelSet()) if it was selected, or it could be dbFindAnyInstByName(cvId "V1") if the source is called "V1".

To see all the parameters actually overridden on the instance (overridden from the CDF defaults) you'd do instId~>prop~>name for example.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
