Hi,

  we must set the composer window as the currentWindow when we want to use the func  geGetEditCellView() , but when the ADE (analogArtist Design Environment) becomes the current window , and we want to use the geGetEditCellView() but don't  like setting the composer window as the current window manually, what shall we do? does anyone who know this?

Regards,

zfeng

    If you want to find the schematic window associated with the ADE window, you can use:

    wid= sevOpenSchematic(sevSession(hiGetCurrentWindow()))

    and then

    cvId=geGetEditCellView(wid)

    This has the benefit of opening the schematic if it's not already open (e.g. you opened the ADE L window without a schematic).

    Regards,

    Andrew.
