Hi, I'm a cadence newbie, installed cadence recently and working on it using tutorials. I faced some issues and I'm listing them down, please do help. 1. keyboard shortcuts -- I cant enable hotkeys on the cadence on my system. I tried copying common_bindkeys.il file into my home directory / installation directory, yet it doesnt work. 2. drc / extract divaDRC.rul -- I constantly have errors loading file *loadstring* I dont see any options for setswitches when I'm trying to extract from layout -- i cant find the Extract_parasitic_switches option... the DRC doesn't work, nor can i extract from layout. please help !! thanks..

    Hi rashmiwadhwa

Here is how you can load the default bindkeys:
    a. Create a file named ".cdsinit" in either your home directory or current working directory
    b. Add the following 2 lines in the file:

    load(prependInstallPath("samples/local/leBindKeys.il"))
    load(prependInstallPath("samples/local/schBindKeys.il"))

As for the Diva issue, I think perhaps it might be better for you to file a service request with the local Cadence support because I think it might be just a setup issue which needs a testcase.

    Best regards
    Quek
