command line execution of the skill program.

We have home grown skill routines for automatic generation of schematics from the excel sheet. I was wondering if we can have the users run the skill routine from the shell command line instead of loading them in CIW. I know the -relay command but is there some thing like a pipo that gets the job done.

     Hi SkillSeeker,

I think that what you need is "dbAccess -load" from the command line, there is a "skill" executable, but it does not contain anything other than core SKILL and SKILL++, whereas the dbAccess executable contains various db* prefix functions, and others.  Note that dbAccess does not contain any sch* prefix functions, so if your code uses these it will fail with dbAccess.  In the latter case, your best option would be to use "virtuoso -nograph" (or "icfb -nograph" etc. if using an older [than IC61x] release).

    Hope this helps!
