where is the multipart path begin/End OffSet parameter held?

Hi guys,

i cannot find the begin/end offset data for the subParts of my multipart path with skill, if i do:

my_rod=car(rodGetNamedShapes(cv))
my_rod~>subParts~>??

I see:

(("rodMPPSubpart:403185768" name "subpart1" type "rectangle"
 layer "OD" purpose "drawing" lpp
 ("OD" "drawing") choppable t netName nil
 termName nil width 90 length
 110 gap "distribute" space 130
 justification "center" beginSegOffset 0.0 endSegOffset
 0.0
    )
)

I was expecting to see a begin/endOffset in here given i have i can see it when i "q" the mpp, anyone know where it lives?

Infact this gives rise to a more general question, when i'm searching around for parameters i usually just start with cv~>?? and descend until i find what i'm looking for. Is there a smarter way to search for parameters & is it possible to to dump all the cv~>??to a file and then i could change a parameter and then tkdiff 2 text files to see what actually changed.

Thanks

Stu

    Stu,

    I see you logged this as service request 42495412  - I investigated as well, and it's a bug (at least it's an oversight). Anyway, a CCR has been filed to fix this, as you know.

    Regards,

    Andrew.

    Hi Andrew, yes this gave us some issues in our PDK migration. Eventually we decided instead delete the old MPP (grabbing its data first) and re-drew a new one.

    Thanks

    Stu
