How to remove link between net names

wighou

Hello,

I have a schematic extracted from a PEX. All components are linked by net names. I would like to disconnect one of them to insert another component but when I try to change the net name of the wire attached to the component all the net name linked to it change too. So it is impossible to disconect this net.

Any idea ?

Regards,

wighou

    Hi Wighou,

Delete the label on the wire. You can then add a new label if you want to rename the net, and it will be independent of all the things it was previously "virtually" connected to. (I'm assuming the schematic was produced by a non-Cadence tool).

    Andrew.
