Hi,

I am a beginner in SKILL, but anyway i like to write a simple script using the vhdlImport Skill function. Unfortunately i am failing with it. Could you provide a simple example ?

Kind Regards , Bernhard

    Bernhard,

I would suggest you log a service request via http://support.cadence.com . The documentation for vhdlImport() is rather lacking - it's rather imprecise about what is expected in the DPL argument, and it's not obvious how the vhdlin parameters need to be formatted in this disembodied property list.

I've never used this function myself, and hence to do not have an example to hand to show how to use this. Unfortunately I don't have time to research and come up with an example - so best if you file this with customer support.

    Best Regards,

    Andrew.
