Shift origin using Skill

Hi,

I developed a pcell using skill code.  I want to shift the origin after all the functions are evaluated in my code. I tried the following but it doesnot work.

 dbSetq(pcCellView list(150.0, -500.0) origin).

Can somebody help?

Thanks

Sandeep

    Sandeep,

I don't know why you thought that would work, given that a cellView does not have an "origin" attribute.

There's no "db" function to do this - you have to move every figure (so you would have to loop over all shapes, instances, vias, boundaries, etc) and do dbMoveFig() on each. There's a high level function leMoveCellViewOrigin() but that's not legal in a pcell.

You could also use the rod functions to do this - e.g. a rodAlign() - but you'd have to ensure all the shapes you wish to move are rod objects too. Maybe you're using rod functions already.

    Andrew.
