How to create a new device in PDK library

 Hi

I am recently trying to create a transmission line device in pdk library, say, I call it "rf_line". Basiclly it should be recognized as a device the same as those NMOS or PMOS or Inductors do in the pdk. Could somebody kindly tell me what should I do, or is there any reference about this task?

My pdk already has a similar device, so I can just simply copy its model file, go inside and modify its model. But it seems like there are a lot of files need to be changed...

Thanks  a lot!

Looking at the PRD Methodology Guide documentis a good intro to how to create PDKs - also how to extend your PDK would be similar. It depends what you mean by "recognized as a device"... so I'd read that document (it's on the Cadence support site, so you'll need an account, which providing you're on maintenance shouldn't be an issue).

    Regards,

    Andrew.
