Assistant Location

Hi,

I am using cadence - virtuoso - relasese 6.1.5.  At startup, Cadence places the assistants along the left side of the active widow.  What is needed to enable these assistants to be placed along the right side of the active window?  Can these assistants and selected toolbars be disabled at startup?

Many THANKS! in advance,

John Wilwert

    John,

Not all assistants are placed on the left side. For example, adding the search assistant places it on the right side.

You can alter the locations of where the assistants are by dragging and dropping them where you want, in whatever arrangement (including on top of each other so they are tabbed). Then when you've got it how you like, you can hit the Save icon in the Workspaces toolbar,  or use Window->Workspaces->Save As, and give it a name. Having done that, you can also use Window->Workspaces->Set Default to pick that named workspace by default for that application. You can choose your new workspace or any other from the cyclic field in the workspaces toolbar, or from the Window->Workspaces menu.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
