    Hi kalikrishna

You can use VeloceRF from Helic to generate a good inductor. The generation process involves EM simulation so you can be sure that you are getting a very good inductor. It is certainly possibly to draw an inductor using Virtuoso Layout Editor but it would not be possible to obtain an accurate inductance value. A 3rd option would be to use the inductors that come with your PDK.

    Best regards

    Hi,

Another option is to use PeakView from Lorentz Solution. It can generate inductors for you using parameters you provide. It will output an s-param or a RLC model for Spectre or SPICE. It is fully integrated with Virtuoso so you get all the cellviews right in your library, and uses a full wave EM-solver.

It can also give you accurate simulation models for any hand drawn geometry.
