How to find an instance selection box size

I am trying to get the top and bottom coordinates of an instance selection box.  I don't see any property on the instance that gives me access to it.  Any ideas?

Thanks.

P.s. I have the following piece of code which works but the bBox seems to return an area larger than I want.  The selection box on some of my instances are deliberately smaller than the symbol itself and I would like to get the coordinates from it.

foreach(instance sch~>instances

    fprintf(OUTFILE "%L,", caar(instance~>bBox)) ; x1
    fprintf(OUTFILE "%L,", caadr(instance~>bBox)) ; x2
    fprintf(OUTFILE "%L,", cadar(instance~>bBox)) ; y1
    fprintf(OUTFILE "%L\n", cadadr(instance~>bBox)) ; y2
)

    Hi jodwyer

    I think COS solution 11192006 will help you. : )  The idea is as follows:

    a. Go down to symbol level
    b. Get bbox of "instance drawing" layer
    c. Transform bbox back to top

    Best regards
