 Hi friends,

                  I have a library1 with 220 cells(only have layouts) &  library2 with 220 cells(only have symbol & schematic views for appropriate layouts in library1)  . For all cells in library1 I want to create a schematic & instantiate symbol from  library2 of  same cell view.

Can you plz help on skill code to doing this job...........

Thank you

Narendra

    Hi Narendra

    I think you can try something like this:

    procedure( CCSinstantiateCells(lib1 lib2)
       let( (targetCells cv)
          targetCells=setof(x ddGetObj(lib1)~>cells member(x~>name ddGetObj(lib2)~>cells~>name)
          foreach(cell targetCells
             cv=dbOpenCellViewByType(lib1 cell~>name "schematic" "schematic" "a")
             dbCreateInstByMasterName(cv lib2 cell~>name "symbol" "I0" list(0 0) "R0" 1)
             schCheck(cv)
             dbSave(cv)
             dbClose(cv)
             printf("Created schematic for cell %s in lib %s\n" cell~>name lib1)
          ) ;foreach
       ) ;let
    ) ;procedure

    Best regards
    Quek
